Doodle Schedule (“the App,” “we,” “us”) is a calendar and handwritten journal app developed by Milly Lo. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
Our Core Principle
Doodle Schedule does not operate a server, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Everything you draw, write, or attach in the App is stored locally on your device and, if you choose, synced privately through your own iCloud account — never through any server we operate or can access.
Information We Access
Calendar — If you enable “Show events on calendar” in Settings, the App reads your device’s Calendar events (via Apple’s EventKit) to display them alongside your journal entries. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere by us.
Photos — You may choose photos from your library to insert into your journal using Apple’s built-in Photos Picker, which only gives the App access to the specific photos you select, not your whole library. If you export a calendar or day page, the App saves the exported image to your Photos library, with your permission.
Face ID / Touch ID — If you enable App Lock in Settings, the App uses Face ID or Touch ID (via Apple’s Local Authentication framework) to lock the app. Biometric data is processed entirely by iOS and is never accessible to the App or to us.
iCloud — If you’re signed in to iCloud, the App stores your journal content (drawings, photos, text, stickers) and certain preferences (like your chosen background paper) in your own private iCloud account, so it can sync across your own devices. This data is encrypted and controlled by Apple’s iCloud infrastructure under your Apple ID — we do not have access to it.
Device Storage — Preferences such as language, week start day, and display settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
Purchases
Doodle Schedule offers in-app purchases (a one-time unlock or a subscription), processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information — Apple handles all billing, and you can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent your data to any third party. We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies of any kind.
Data Retention & Deletion
Since your content lives on your device and/or your own iCloud account, you’re always in control: deleting the App removes all locally stored data; deleting content within the App removes it from iCloud too once synced; and you can manage or delete Doodle Schedule’s iCloud data via your device’s Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
Children’s Privacy
Doodle Schedule is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no personal data at all, this applies regardless of age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
