When you take a photo, it’s saved as a file inside the app’s own private storage on your device — never uploaded to any server, never synced to any cloud, and never seen by us. You can delete individual photos or whole rolls at any time from within the app; deleting the app permanently removes everything.

If you choose to export a photo, the app asks for permission to add it to your device’s Photos app — a one-way, add-only permission. The app cannot read your existing photo library.

Roll Film Camera offers optional in-app purchases (extra film, a Premium membership) through the App Store. All payment is handled entirely by Apple’s StoreKit — the app never sees, stores, or has access to your card details or Apple ID.

To let you earn extra film or faster developing for free, the app shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Watching an ad is always your choice — nothing plays automatically. The app does not use Apple’s tracking permission and does not track you across other apps or websites; ads shown are non-personalised.

Google’s AdMob service may still collect limited technical data (such as device type and general ad-performance data) to serve and measure these ads, under Google’s own privacy policy.

If you allow it, the app schedules a local reminder to tell you when a roll of film has finished developing. This reminder is generated and scheduled entirely on your device — no data leaves your phone to make it happen.

No accounts, no sign-in, no name, no email address, no location, no contacts, and no analytics or crash-tracking beyond what’s built into the Google AdMob SDK described above.

Roll Film Camera is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new effective date above.
